Take your time

Finally, as you evaluate stocks, take your time. If a stock is fundamentally sound, you have plenty of time to buy it. The stock market is not a bargin beasement, which means that just because a stock looks good this morning, you don't have to buy it this afternoon. If it's a good buy for the long term, you can wait a month or two, ot even six, before investing in it. Be particularly wary of fas and trendy stocks. It's very easy for buyer to get excited over frontpage news, and as buyers rush in, the prices of these stocks can leap far ahead of their earnings. Many of them eventually crush, so don't be in a hurry, finding quality and vlaue can take time.
